Design inspiration:From the ancient building technology rammed earth, we find inspiration. After ramming the soil and gravel of different density and color layer by layer, the designer makes them the creative source of product materials. Combining with the special mold effect and surface technology, the ceramic tiles can truly restore the simple feeling of plain soil, and interpret the new connotation of traditional culture in the modern space in a more innovative form.
Process:Collect different types of soil gravel, tamp them by hand to form rammed earth materials, cut the texture of rammed earth through HD scanner, and form image files. After that, the designer uses professional software to refine the subtle defects in them, and allocates three space tones suitable for modern space: light gray, brown yellow and medium gray. With the dry grain of the mold and the partially peeled ink, the fine touch and slightly sunken surface texture of the plain soil can be displayed, and the visual and tactile materials can be close to the natural materials, which is in line with the popular trend of modern home furnishings.
